On The Other Side Of The Wall
Cristian Pirovano
On the Other Side of the Wall is a photographic and documentary book about everyday life in Palestine under Israeli occupation. Through images and short texts produced between 2013 and 2025 in the West Bank, the project explores how the occupation shapes childhood, work, and social bonds, turning the everyday into an experience marked by control, waiting, and uncertainty. Far from being merely a physical structure, the wall emerges as a system that organizes territory and conditions life.
